As a part of the Scouting events that are going to take place in the next days, we are proud to announce The Furia Challenge - CSS. What is The Furia Challenge ? It's nothing but an event and a chance to prove your skills to the Furia Scouters that will be reporting and advising to the General Manager of the Mexico City Furia, Augusto "NoobZaibot" Zapata Delgado in his picks for the new CSS Squad.

In this particular case, Counter Strike Source is the first game that will give the opportunity. It was a very important factor in the performance of our team last year, and we are expecting to see incredible talents taking part of this. In the next lines, you will find the information needed to be part of this event.

Who can participate in this CSS Challenge ?
All the 18 Years of age or older, Residents of a country in South America, Central America, and/or Mexico. Players should be able to obtain any and all necessary authorization for travel to the United States. Players should be registered in the Mexico City Furia website, and fill the detailed information as Real Name, SteamID, etc.

When is the CSS Challenge going to take place ?
The Challenge will be realized this Thursday, May 15th at 10:00PM GMT-5.

Where is the CSS Challenge going to be played ?
The Challenge will be played in the Mexico City Furia Private Server, via internet. Due to the timelines and the geography of our continent, a LAN event is very hard to be organized.

How do I sign up for the Challenge ?
If you fulfill all the requirements exposed before, send an email to the address : challenge@mexicocityfuria.com with the Subject CSS CHALLENGE and containing your Full Name, Gaming Alias, Username in Mexico City Furia website and SteamID.

How is the Challenge supposed to be played ?
Every single player must be present in the Furia Official IRC Channel (#Furia @ GameSurge), using the Game Alias specified in the email and ready to play. One of the Staff Members of the Furia will send a Private Message to the player, giving him server information, password, and side to join (Counter Terrorist or Terrorist). Games will be played with the CGS Official Ruleset. Each player will play only ONE MAP per turn, and wait in the channel to be called for playing again by a Staff Member. An announcement in the channel will set the end of the event.

Of course, the former roster of the Furia and/or players that would be announced as "returning" or "new" in the Furia Countdown will be playing in the event too. The roster of the 2007 Season is as follows :
